Dear friends and family,

Jamaal and I have been celebrating all week long.  We started on Sunday with our wedding, the party continued on Tuesday after Jamaal made the runoff, and today we are celebrating because my new husband turns a year older!

Thank you so much for all your support over the last few weeks. On Tuesday, so many of you joined us at our “honeymoon at the polls!” Truly, how often do you get to join a couple on their honeymoon?! With your help, Jamaal made it into the runoff. Today, I am asking for you to help me celebrate Jamaal’s birthday by donating $32 for his 32nd birthday. 

I am so proud of my husband and excited to be by his side. I married a great guy, and I know he will be a fantastic state representative. Because of your hard work and support, he was successful on Tuesday and we got the best wedding gift we could ask for.
